Reality is My Plaything (Pt 1. Where it all began)

July 14, 2009 · 3 Comments

As I mentioned not long ago, a few short years ago I was homeless, out of work, penniless and in debt. I’d just gone from one destructive relationship (She couldn’t stop causing the biggest fights over the tiniest things. I mean to the point where I nearly had a heart attack. Twice.) to another equally destructive relationship (She was a hopeless liar and somewhat less than faithful.) and I was convinced I was never ever going to find anyone special to share my life with. In fact, I’d come to accept it, I was comfortable with it even. I was surrounded by losers and as a result, I too was a complete waste of blood and organs. I was an emotional wreck. I was over weight. I had next to no self respect or dignity. And as for whining, I could’ve moaned for England. Not as part of a team, but on behalf of the entire population. I had become someone you definitely didn’t want to know. Heck, I didn’t want to know me!

Just a year later - one year –  I moved into a lovely home. I had made some good friends. I had money in my pocket and I was mixing with successful people who all wanted to do business with me. Literally 2 days after deciding I was going to make an Xbox my life partner, I met my soulmate and married soon after. I’ve got a great body and I now run 2 successful businesses. I predict that I’ll comfortably reach millionaire status within the next 4 years. And I’m much more pleasant to be around.

So how did I manage such an incredible transformation? Well, you’ll be glad to know that whatever it was I did, you can do it too. That’s why you keep visiting my blog, right? So I can tell you?  Great. That’s just what I want to do.  Just not yet, a little more background first!

You may be surprised to learn that many of the techniques behind my rise to success are the those that almost wrecked my life in the first place. You’ll find out how later, but for now let me introduce you to Noel Edmunds. For those not aware, Noel was a top radio DJ and TV personality during the 70’s and 80’s. He hit some hard times, both personally and professionally, before making a comeback in the early 00’s most notably with his TV show, Deal or No Deal.  In an interview shortly after his return to the spotlight, Noel credited his success to a little known new-age practice he called “Cosmic Ordering”.

In a nutshell, Noel would simply ask the universe to deliver his wishes and it would. He’d even put a deadline on the request and, if the bearded one is to believed, his request would arrive on time and just how he wanted. More or less. He’d write the order down on a piece of paper and put it in his pocket, like an order at Argos. So here was an intelligent adult trying to tell the world that he basically makes a wish and it comes true. Clearly, this was bollox. Don’t get me wrong, Noel Edmunds is a good guy and I was happy to see him back on top, but his trials and tribulations have obviously left him as mad as a bottle of chips.

A few weeks after I saw that interview I was given a book by astrologist Jonathon Cainer, and as if by magic, it was about Cosmic Ordering. The guy who gave it to me was a big believer in the idea of making things appear as if by magic and thought I’d like to join in. I read the book just to be polite but again, I was left with the distinct impression that the man was talking bollox.

I can’t remember exactly why, I think mostly out of spite, but soon I placed my first order. I can’t remember what it was for, probably free coffee (I drink too much coffee, yet strangely never enough). Whatever it was, I remember laughing hysterically when it arrived. On time and just how I wanted. More or less. When I sheepishly mentioned it to some of my friends, I was surprised to find that they too were ordering and getting great results. You have to imagine 4 big, ugly, bald, tattooed men gathering in coffee shops, hunched over our latte and mumbling in conspiratorial tones about new age philosophies. Anyone overhearing us would think that we too were talking bollox. Cosmic Ordering was our guilty secret like watching Star Trek, or dancing with our pets on their hind legs.

After a LOT of study, I eventually ended up distilling all the information I gathered into a thesis of my own and writing it in a blog. I’m more than a little obsessive sometimes, and getting the contents of my head out and onto a page, albeit a virtual page, helped me sleep and organise my system of Cosmic Ordering. It was then that it dawned on me: I too had begun talking bollox.

I called my method “Creative Coincidence” and detailed it in a blog. That blog, Reality is My Plaything, was for me and me alone. I put together a practical, no-nonsense, easy to understand method of manifesting prosperity and happiness. Just so I knew what I was doing when I ordered, and fine tuned my methods. Keeping what’s useful and discarding anything not needed. It being the internet and all, you’d have thought I wouldn’t be surprised when other people began reading it. But I was very surprised. Within a month, Reality is My Plaything was getting over 2000 unique hits a week. With no advertising. No marketing. Just people wanting to find out more about ordering, liking what I had to say, and telling their friends.

I just love the idea that we have the ability to tap into the infinite power of a loving universe. That we as humans have this skill at our disposal. I have proved this fact to myself, and I’ve witnessed first hand how people discover that they can indeed have more, achieve more, be more. They can make their world a better place to live in, and in turn improve the world as a whole. I am excited and passionate about Creative Coincidence. So much so I incorporated it into Full Contact Lifestyle.

Before we head into Part 2 let me emphasize one thing. As mentioned, if you throw yourself into this journey with enthusiasm and a sincere wish to change, you will achieve things you once thought were impossible – and all with very little effort. If you just “nibble at the edges”, you’ll see very little by way of improvements, if any. How you deal with the information in this blog is entirely up to you, as you’re about to find out – this is your universe, I’m just here by invitation. However I would humbly ask you to at least proceed with an open mind and enjoy the ride.

By now you’re either wondering how far off the rails I’m about to go, or you’re dying to know how you can use Creative Coincidence too. So lets crack on, shall we?

Digg!
